.jpg) TEHRAN – Iranian President Hassan Rohani issued a decree on Wednesday appointing Ali Akbar Torkan as the caretaker manager of the Iranian Space Agency, the High Council of Iranians Abroad, and the Secretariat of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Torkan is regarded by many as one of the most trusted members of Rohani’s inner circle. During the June presidential election, Torkan served as deputy head of Rohani’s election campaign office.
