.jpg) TEHRAN – In a decree issued on Thursday, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif appointed Marzieh Afkham as first woman spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Afkham, who takes the place of Abbas Araqchi, had previously served as head of the press office at the Foreign Ministry and director of the ministry department for public diplomacy.
