.jpg) TEHRAN – Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli has said that the Islamic Republic considers neighboring Afghanistan as a friendly country with many cultural affinities.
He made the remarks during a meeting with visiting Afghan Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Jamaher Anwari in Tehran on Wednesday.
The two senior officials reaffirmed that Afghan citizens should travel to Iran through legal channels.
Also, Jamaher conveyed the warm greetings of Afghan President Hamid Karzai to the Iranian minister and expressed hope that relations between Tehran and Kabul would increase further.
