 TEHRAN - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday offered his condolences over the demise of Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Taheri Khorramabadi, a member of the Assembly of Experts.
A respected religious scholar, Ayatollah Taheri Khorramabadi was known for his great contribution to the Islamic Revolution of 1979. He also served for a short time as Tehran’s Friday prayer leader.
In his message, Ayatollah Khamenei described Ayatollah Taheri Khorramabadi as a figure who played an effective role in promoting Imam Khomeini’s cause before and after the Islamic Revolution.
