| U.S. has stepped in to deal with Islamic Awakening: Leader |

.jpg) TEHRAN – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that the United States has hastily stepped in to deal with the Islamic Awakening.
The Leader made the remarks during a meeting with a number of Friday prayers leaders in Tehran on Monday.
He said, “The gradual dissemination of the ideology and identity of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has greatly concerned the Westerners… and they have complicated and expanded their plans and plots.
“Now the situation in the region and the Muslim world has developed in a way that Westerners think that they have fallen behind in their competition with the ideology of the Islamic Revolution, and therefore they have focused their efforts to make up for this (failure).
“In this situation, the Islamic Awakening movement started in the region, and the Westerners that found themselves fallen behind the ideology of the Islamic Revolution entered the scene hastily to deal with the Islamic Awakening and the political Islam.”
He went on to say that Muslims should strongly stand up to the West because the Westerners have shown that they have no mercy on the people and despite their claims about human rights, they are not affected by the killing of the people.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei said the government, the people, officials, politicians, and diplomats should look realistically at complicated moves and approaches of the United States and other Western countries and their hypocrisy about human rights, otherwise they will make mistakes in the recognition of the enemy’s tactics and strategies.
