|U.S.-Iran detente to benefit Turkey, says Davutoglu||
The possible lifting of U.S. sanctions against Iran will benefit the Turkish economy, said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Wednesday in an interview with CNN Turk.
The possible lifting of U.S. sanctions against Iran, which were discussed in the UN last week, would mean that Iran would have extra revenue to help it develop its infrastructure which would in turn give Turkey possible business opportunities, Davutoglu predicted.
The relaxing of relations between Turkey and Iran would also facilitate the stabilization of Iraq, Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East, he said.
