|There is real chance for progress in Iran nuclear talks: Russia||
TEHRAN – Russia has said that it expects positive results from the next round of negotiations which is scheduled to be held between Iran and world powers over Terhan’s nuclear program in October.
Russia expects positive results from the meeting of the six on Iran, scheduled for October 15-16, and believes that there is a real chance for advancement, RIA Novosti on Thursday quoted Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov as saying.
"There was a meeting in New York in which an agreement was reached to meet in Geneva. And, basically, in my opinion, there is a real chance to move forward," Bogdanov said during the 11th session of the World Public Forum "Dialogue of Civilizations" called the Rhodes Forum.
He also said that he believes "the promotion is real."
Iran has been holding talks with the six major powers, namely the United States, China, Russia, Britain, France, and Germany, which are known as the P5+1 group, over its nuclear program, which Tehran says is solely for peaceful purposes but the West suspects may be aimed at developing nuclear weapons.
