|Tehran official visits China ahead of Iran's talks with 5+1 group||
TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi is visiting China ahead of a new round of talks with major powers over Iran’s nuclear program.
He was scheduled to hold meetings with high ranking Chinese officials on bilateral issues as well as Iran’s nuclear program.
China has announced that it would play a constructive role in resolving the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program.
Iran and the six major powers, namely the United States, China, Russia, Britain, France, plus Germany, which are known as the 5+1 group, are scheduled to meet in Geneva on October 15 and 16. And representatives of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency will meet on October 28.
