|Men arrested at Iranian nuclear site were actually steel thieves||
TEHRAN – Iranian Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi has announced that the four people who were arrested on suspicion of attempting to conduct an act of sabotage at an Iranian nuclear site were actually thieves who were trying to steal second-hand steel.
“These four people were thieves and not nuclear saboteurs,” Alavi said on Wednesday. “They were locals from the village near the site and had a record of such acts.”
Since there were old steel sheets in the area of the site, they dug a tunnel under the 1.5-meter wall to steal the steel and sell it on the black market.
