|Iran condemns terrorist attack in Yemen||
TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham has condemned the recent terrorist attack in Yemen which killed 52 people.
“Such blind terrorist acts which are aimed at creating instability and insecurity, and damaging the political process of the country will fail to break the Yemeni people’s will to pursue their legitimate demands,” Afkham said on Thursday.
She also said she is confident that scholars, parties, and the prudent people of Yemen would not allow the ill-wishers to achieve their malevolent goals.
A suicide bomber and gunmen wearing army uniforms attacked Yemen’s defense ministry on Thursday, killing 52 people including foreign medical staff and injuring 167 others, in the country’s worst militant assault in 18 months, according to Reuters.
