|Iranian deputy FM to visit Latin America||
TEHRAN – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi is scheduled to begin a 10-day trip to the three Latin American countries of Cuba, Venezuela, and Bolivia on Monday.
The trip is aimed to expand ties with the Latin American countries in various political and economic fields.
“Over the past years, we have had friendly relations with Latin American countries, and the new administration is also determined to continue these relations,” he said.
“We wish to have dialogue with the entire world based on mutual respect and on an equal footing… and we are interested to expand and continue our relations with all countries, especially those that have been our friends for years,” the Mehr News Agency quoted him as saying.
“Latin American countries, East Asia, African states, and neighboring countries, which get our special priority, are all in our agenda.”
