Iran FM meets Nasrallah, calls for unified front against terrorism

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_01_Zarif99(2).jpgIranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has held talks with Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah in Beirut.
A statement from the Lebanese party said on Monday that the meeting took place in the presence of Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi and involved comprehensive discussions on the situation in Lebanon and the region at different levels, Al-Manar reported. 
After the meeting, Zarif called on countries in the Middle East to work together to combat the rising phenomenon of terrorism and stressed the need for ties between Tehran and Riyadh to ensure stability in the region.
During Zarif’s visit to Lebanon, Zarif held separate meetings with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, amonth others, in which discussed the bilateral ties and other issues of mutual interest.
