|Iranian, Turkish FMs discuss Syria conference||
TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday.
The two officials discussed the upcoming Syrian conference and the imminent visit by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tehran, which is scheduled for the end of January, the Fars News Agency reported.
“Ankara expects Tehran to play a positive role at the conference to settle the Syrian crisis,” Davutoglu said.
Zarif, for his part, noted that Iran will continue its cooperation with Turkey to find a peaceful solution to the crisis.
