|Iran keen to strengthen ties with Bolivia||
TEHRAN – The Iranian deputy foreign minister for European and American affairs has said that the Islamic Republic is keen to strengthen its relations with Bolivia.
Majid Takht-Ravanchi made the remarks during a meeting with Bolivian President Evo Morales in La Paz on Monday.
The Iranian diplomat also said that Tehran is ready to cooperate with Bolivia as the president of the Group of 77.
Morales, for his part, described Iran as a friend of the Bolivian nation and highlighted the importance of the Latin American country’s relations with Tehran.
He also invited Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to a meeting of the Group of 77 scheduled to be held in Bolivia in June.
