|Iran unveils simulators for air defense systems||
TEHRAN – Iran unveiled two domestically manufactured simulators for Hawk and Skyguard air defense missile systems during a ceremony held in Tehran on Tuesday.
In the ceremony, the commander of Iran’s Khatam-ol-Anbiya Air Defense Base said that the simulators have been designed and manufactured by the experts at the air defense base.
Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili also said that all the components and parts of the simulators have been produced in the country.
In addition, he pointed to the significant features of the simulators and said that they can simulate various targets including missiles, aircraft, helicopters, and drones.
He went on to say that the systems are able to implement various military tactics and electronic warfare measures.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that Iranian military forces have recently conducted a major three-day military exercise across the country, in which the country’s integrated air defense network has been tested.
