|Iran is open to UN nuclear inspections: Rouhani||
TEHRAN – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says Tehran will keep its doors open to the UN nuclear watchdog, implying that the country is ready to further cooperate with the international body
to allay concerns about its nuclear program.
He made the remarks during a meeting with a number of foreign ambassadors and representatives in Tehran on Monday.
Rouhani said the Islamic Republic is entitled to enjoy peaceful nuclear technology, underlining that all countries should have the right to access knowledge and technology for peaceful purposes.
The president also called for fight against violence, extremism, and terrorism to make the world a safer place, adding those countries that created and supported terrorism in the first place, have seen or will see the adverse consequences.
