No country can progress in isolation: Rouhani

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_NA3(8).jpgTEHRAN – Today no country can achieve progress in isolation, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in a gathering of people in Chabahar on Wednesday.
The Iranian government seeks to establish good relations with neighboring countries and all other countries that respect Iran’s national interests and the Iranian nation’s rights, he said.
The president went on to say that Iran has taken preliminary step to have good relations with the neighboring countries and the whole world, adding that Iran’s ties with the world has changed a lot.
He also said the first step to achieve progress is maintaining regional security.
In addition to security, it is necessary to promote cooperation, he added. 
Rouhani arrived in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan-and-Baluchestan province, on Tuesday. He planned to visit other cities in the province and meet with local officials, scholars and entrepreneurs.
