|Iran and South Korea highlight cooperation||
TEHRAN - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs Ibrahim Rahimpour held talks in Seoul on Monday with South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Lee Kyung-soo.
They discussed ways to expand political, cultural and economic ties and exchanged views on international developments.
Rahimpour called on South Korean corporations to invest in Iranian oil, energy and petrochemical industries.
Lee said that South Korea is ready to make investment in Iran.
They also discussed banking cooperation.
The two diplomats welcomed a continuation of political consultation at various levels and agreed that the foreign ministers of the two countries meet in the near future.
