|Iraqi official says Iran has returned 130 jet fighters to Iraq: ISNA||
TEHRAN – Iraqi military spokesman Gen. Qasem Atta has announced that Iran has given back 130 Iraqi jet fighters which had been stored in Iran since the Iraq-Kuwait war in 1990, the ISNA news agency reported on Monday.
Talking in a press conference, Atta said it is about 24 years that these airplanes have been in Iran.
The spokesman said these fighter jets have been equipped with modern weapons to be used against ISIL terrorists and liberating the city of Mosul.
Al-Watan Al-Arabi said on its website that these fighter jets might no longer be operational.
