|Zolfaghari appointed new deputy interior minister||
TEHRAN – The interior minister has appointed Hossein Zolfaghari as his new deputy for security affairs, replacing Ali Abdollahi.
In a decree on Sunday, Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli appointed border guard commander Zolfaghari to the new post and wished him success during his tenure.
In the decree, Rahmani-Fazli asked Zolfaghari to take measures to enforce law and order, boost security inside the country and on the border areas, and organize the affairs of foreign nationals and immigrants.
