|Final nuclear deal needs Majlis approval: MP||
TEHRAN – An Iranian MP has said that should a final agreement be reached between Iran and the world powers on Tehran’s nuclear program, it will need to be confirmed by the parliament.
“According to the Constitution… the finalization of any agreement should be subject to the Majlis’ approval,” Esmaeel Kowsari told the Fars news agency on Tuesday.
“Given the excessive demands made by the Western side, I do not believe that an agreement can be reached in this round of talks. However, our negotiating team is vigorously making efforts,” Kowsari added.
