|Supporters of nuclear talks hold meeting||
TEHRAN – A large number of Iranian political figures met on Thursday to express their support for the Iranian nuclear team negotiating with the world powers on Tehran’s nuclear program.
The ceremony, under the name of “We Are Calm”, was held in a hotel in Tehran. Senior officials, including Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati and deputy foreign minister for consular and parliamentary affairs Hassan Qashqavi delivered speeches at the ceremony.
It is believed that the ceremony was held in response to a gathering of critics of the interim nuclear deal between Iran and the six world powers in Tehran in May. The gathering was named “We Are Concerned”.
