Ali Majedi appointed Iranian ambassador to Germany

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_Saki-Germany.jpgTEHRAN - Ali Majedi, the director the Oil Ministry department for commercial and international affairs, has been named as Tehran’s ambassador to Berlin. 
Majedi, 68, holds a master’s degree in economics from Shahid Beheshti University. 
Since 1981 he has served in different jobs including Iran’s ambassador to Brazil and Japan, charge d’affairs to the UAE, and director of the Foreign Ministry department for CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries. 
He also acted as economic advisor to prime minister, deputy oil minister, and economic advisor to foreign minister.
He has also written an analytical book entitled “Money and Bank”.
