Leader’s support will strengthen nuclear negotiators’ spirit: Rouhani

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_sr2.jpgTEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani has said the Supreme Leader’s support for the Iranian nuclear negotiating team at this “sensitive juncture” is very important, noting this will promote the spirit of negotiators and strengthen their position in defending the country’s nuclear rights, the presidential press office reported on Wednesday. 
 
In his speech in a gathering of officials on Monday the Leader said, “We trust the country’s negotiating team and we are sure that they will not allow the rights of the country and the people and the Iranian nation’s dignity to be encroached on.”  
Rouhani also said the Supreme Leader’s support to his government’s moderate approach is a great asset.
 
Rouhani who was talking in a cabinet meeting also said the “heavy burden” of managing the country needs the support of the Leader and expressed hope that with the support of the Leader and the people, as the “main assets”, his government would succeed to resolve the problems facing the country.
 
On Monday, the Leader also said, “I express my approval and support for the government. And I will make every effort to support the government. And I trust high-ranking government officials.” 
 
President Rouhani also called for cooperation and amity between all the branches of government to allay the concerns of the Leader.
 
The president also expressed hope that by fully obeying the guidelines of the Leader and meeting his demands his government could always enjoy such a support. 
 
The president also said the Leader’s unequivocal and strong support for the government and senior officials is unique in its kind in the recent years and thanked the Leader for such a support.
