|MPs delay vote on formation of parties for 3 months||
TEHRAN – For a further study Iranian MPs on Sunday decided to delay the passage of a bill on establishing political parties and the activities of parties or political groups.
The passage was delayed for a period of three months, IRNA reported.
132 out of 216 MPs present in the parliament voted to delay the passage of the bill.
12 articles of the bill were studied during the recent weeks and the MPs decided not to pass it for three months to clear up all the ambiguities and problems surrounding the bill.
