Iran prioritizes interaction with UNHCR: Zarif

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_na2(77).jpgTEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has important duties to carry out in regional countries including Iran. 
Zarif also said Tehran attaches great importance to its relations with the UN agency.
He made the remarks when he received a copy of the credentials of the new UNHCR representative in Iran, Sivanka Dana Pala.
In a separate meeting, the new accredited ambassador of Iceland to Tehran submitted a copy of his credentials to Zarif.
The foreign minister also held a separate meeting with the new ambassador of Myanmar to Tehran Aung Khin Soe on Monday in which he received a copy of the envoy’s credentials.
