Chinese ambassador meets Iranian economy minister

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br1(281).jpgTEHRAN – The new Chinese ambassador to Tehran, Pang Sen, met with Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tayebnia on Sunday.
Tayebnia said the Iranian government in general and the ministry under his leadership in particular are tasked with directing economic relations with China and both the government and the ministry believe that economic cooperation between the two countries should be expanded.
Both countries have great potential to expand economic ties, he added.
He said that Iran is ready to cooperate with China in oil and petrochemical industries.
The Chinese ambassador pointed to Iran’s economic capacities and said the Beijing government is willing to expand ties with Iran and make investment in the country.
