|‘Coalition of reformists, conservatives neither necessary nor feasible’||
TEHRAN – The leader of the Islamic Coalition Party says an alliance between reformist and conservative camps is neither necessary nor feasible.
In an interview with the IRNA news agency on Sunday, Mohammad Nabi Habibi said reformist and conservative parties have different political approaches on how to run the country.
He added that the differences are acceptable as long as it does not harm the system. He said differences can even lead to a healthy competition which is necessary for the country’s progress.
A competition between the two camps, which truly prove their loyalty to the principles of the Islamic revolution, is necessary for the country’s political vitality.
