In an address to Iranian students and academics abroad on Monday, Morteza Sarmadi, the deputy foreign minister, said since there are certain groups who do not want the negotiations bear fruit, the two sides have decided not to disclose the details of the talks.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Sarmadi said the government’s policy is that it would not allow the vicious atmosphere to deprive Iran from its own right.
Commenting on the negotiations, Sarmadi said the United States has been playing a major role in previous rounds of nuclear talks, because mainly the U.S. had imposed sanctions on Iran.
