|Rouhani could have been elected president in 1993: advisor||
TEHRAN – A presidential advisor for cultural affairs believes President Hassan Rouhani was also able to win the post of president back in 1993, the time Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani won his second term in office.
In an interview with the Namehnews website published on Monday, Hesamuddin Ashna said there was no spare time to waste when Rouhani took the post last year.
He added that the government of Rouhani is a professional government not a “party government” or a “charismatic government,” which means that the administration has to perform its duties, regardless of whether it increases or decreases its popularity.
