|Aref suggests establishing ‘youth political organization’||
TEHRAN – Former vice president Mohammad Reza Aref has put forward a suggestion to establish a ‘youth political organization’ in the future.
In an interview with the ISNA news agency published on Saturday, Aref referred to the participation of top-notch university students in the 2013 presidential elections as a successful experience and said this success can happen again with the formation of a political organization peculiar to the youth.
He added that he firmly believes that young people should vigorously participate in various political, cultural, and social fields.
Aref, who was a contestant in 2014 presidential elections but withdrew his candidacy to give a better chance to the moderate camp, had earlier said that he wants to be a “bridge” for the entry of the youth to the parliament.
