TEHRAN - The deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has said that the Palestinian resistance movement’s missiles have reached a range of 160 kilometers, which covers the entire territory of the Zionist regime.
Brigadier General Hossein Salami made the remarks in a televised interview late on Saturday.
He said that all the Zionist regime’s residents in the occupied territories have a sense of insecurity and the “security equation” in occupied Palestine has changed.
Undoubtedly, the United States’ strategic policies on the Middle East depend on the Zionist regime’s policies, Salami stated.
In the U.S. view, the Zionist regime can be powerful when its neighboring countries are weak, he added.
He went on to say that the Syrian and Iraqi crises were created to weaken those countries.
The militants of the terrorist group that calls itself the Islamic State are waging a bloody campaign in Iraq and Syria, and Israel is waging a war against Gaza. Many civilians have been killed in both conflicts.
The deputy commander of the IRGC said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is making every effort to strengthen the Palestinian resistance movement and to prevent the United States and the Zionist regime from dominating the Islamic world.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Salami said that the resistance movement of the West Bank will take the approach of the resistance movement of the Gaza Strip and will arm themselves.
Israel is conducting intensive attacks on the Gaza Strip. The death toll has exceeded 1900, with women and children the main victims.
