|Triangle of terrorism, despotism, arrogance has cast spell on Mideast: Rafsanjani||
TEHRAN - Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council, said on Monday that terrorism, despotism and arrogance are three sides of a “triangle” dominating in the Middle East.
These three problems have almost “cast a spell” on the countries that are moving toward democracy, Rafsanjani stated in a meeting with industrialists.
Rafsanjani described these phenomena as “dangerous” to the Islamic world.
Thanks to God, Rafsanjani said, such things do not exist in Iran.
He pointed to crises in some Islamic countries and said the current situation in the Islamic world is not good.
The terrorist group that calls itself the Islamic State has waged barbaric bloody purges in Iraq and Syria which have astonished the world.
Also, Israel has started a war against Gaza which some politicians and law experts have described as war crimes and crimes against humanity.
