On Monday, Rouhani harshly criticized the opponents of nuclear talks with the world powers, saying some people, who are politically “timid” and “cowardly”, do not have confidence and whenever the negotiations start, they say that they are shivering.
In a speech at the beginning of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Rouhani added that the saboteurs must be aware that the government will not remain “silent” against them.
“Based on the teachings of the Quran, we will not succumb to injustice and pressure, and those who seek to turn their back on people’s choice and national interests should know that the system will talk to them bluntly,” he said.
