In a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon last week, Ebtekar noted the immense hardship caused by the acts of violence against the people of Gaza, the humanitarian crisis, and genocide of the Palestinians, according to doe.ir website.

Ebtekar also underlined UN’s commitment to protect “the peace and security of mankind”, urging the United Nations to take measures to lift the Gaza blockade.
