Brain drain in Iran is shocking: Hassan Khomeini

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br2(303).jpgEHRAN – Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the late founder of the Islamic revolution, has said that serious attention should be paid to the issue of brain drain in the country.
Someone, who grows and studies in a country, should be aware that he is indebted to that society, and if he leaves the country and never returns, it means that he has not paid his dues, Khomeini said at a speech in Tehran on Monday. 
He added that while developed countries earn billions [of dollars] by hiring other countries’ intellectuals, the brain drain in Iran is a “shocking” issue, whose causes should be studied and find solutions to them.
