|Chinese president to visit Tehran: Rouhani||
TEHRAN - President Hassan Rouhani announced on Saturday that his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will soon pay a visit to Tehran to further boost relations between the two countries.
The relations between Tehran and Beijing are expected to be developed in the upcoming visit by the Chinese president, Rouhani told a press conference.
Rouhani, who was answering a question by Phoenix TV correspondent in Tehran, said that the extent to which the relations are set to be expanded depends on the results of the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany).
“China has been one of the countries that preserved good relations with Iran during the time of sanctions and the relations will continue to develop in future,” he said.
