Iran appoints new ambassadors to China, Germany

TEHRAN -  
President Hassan Rouhani says his administration’s policy is based on constructive engagement with the international community.
 
This approach falls within the country’s strategic foreign policy to safeguard national interests, President Rouhani said in a meeting on Tuesday with six new Iranian ambassadors to China, Germany, Romania, Tunisia, Bolivia, and Colombia. 
 
He urged the new ambassadors to make their utmost effort to boost ties with their target countries in all areas, particularly in the economic sector.
 
The president also wished success for the new ambassadors.
 
Ali Majedi, Hamid Moayer, Boroujerdi (first name not given), Seyyed Reza Tabatabaee Shafiee, Ali Asghar Khaji, and Ali Akbar Rezaee are the six new Iranian ambassadors to Germany, Romania, Tunisia, Bolivia, China, and Colombia, respectively.
