The Iranian Interior Ministry has said that Abdul Rauf Rigi, the ringleader of the Jaish ul-Nasr terrorist group, has been killed in an intergroup conflict, the Mehr news agency reported.
Abdul Rauf Rigi, the brother of Abdolmalek Rigi, was killed during a clash with Jaish ul-Adl in a Pakistani city on Friday.
The terrorist cell later claimed that the Iranian forces had killed their leader, the allegations that Interior Ministry spokesman Hossein Ali Amiri rejected.
Abdolmalek Rigi, Jundallah’s former leader, was arrested and executed in Iran in 2010.
