 TEHRAN – Imam Musa al-Sadr, an Iranian-born Shia cleric who vanished without a trace in Libya in 1978, is still alive in a prison in Libya, said Saeed Aboutaleb of a committee tasked with pursuing the case of al-Sadr. “Latest news shows that Imam Musa al-Sadr is still alive and is being transferred in Libyan prisons,” Aboutaleb told the Fars news agency. There is no document that proves he is dead, he added.
