TEHRAN – Iranian ambassador to Baghdad has said the members of the terrorist group Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization have to leave Iraq by the end of 2011, otherwise the Iraqi officials will take necessary measures.
Speaking to Fars news agency, Ambassador Hassan Daneefar also said Iran’s embassy in Iraq is making efforts to facilitate the freedom of Iranians imprisoned in the country.
He also said Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi is scheduled to travel to Baghdad at the head of an economic delegation on July 6 to attend a meeting of the two countries’ joint committee.
During the two-day visit, Tehran and Baghdad will sign agreements on customs cooperation, joint investment, and trades cooperation, he noted.
Rahimi will also attend a conference hosted by 100 Iranian companies in Iraq, which will also be attended by some Iraqi officials, he added.
