The foreign minister will meet with the IAEA chief on July 12 in Vienna to discuss Iran’s nuclear issue, Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh told ISNA on Saturday.

Salehi is scheduled to make a trip to Vienna on Monday to meet with Austrian officials and a number of Vienna-based international officials including UN Office at Vienna Director General Yury Fedotov and the director of the Preparatory Commission of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.

According to Reuters, The UN nuclear chief also said on Wednesday that he planned to meet Iranian foreign minister, but had no firm details.

“The most important message for Iran is that they need to fully implement the safeguard agreement and other relevant obligations. Further cooperation is needed to restore the confidence of the international community,” he said.

On June 21, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Director Fereydoun Abbasi Davani said that he had invited Amano to visit Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Amano has said he would consider accepting an invitation to visit Iran but stressed it would have to yield concrete results.
