TEHRAN – The Saudi Arabian ambassador to Tehran has thanked Iran for sending a delegation to attend the funeral procession for Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Saudi ambassador made the remarks during a meeting with the Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in Tehran on Saturday. The prince died of colon cancer in New York on October 22, and his funeral was held before the afternoon prayer, and his body was then taken away for burial.
