| 14 members of principlists’ unity committee determined |

TEHRAN –- Fourteen members of the principlists’ unity committee have been determined so far, the Mehr News Agency reported on Wednesday. The principlists’ committee, established to foster unity among principlists for the parliamentary elections in March 2012, is supposed to be comprised of 15 members representing various principlist groups and parties. According to the report, MP Hossein Fadaii, MP Alireza Zakani, and MP Morteza Agha-Tehrani, who all represent Tehran in the Majlis, have been recently appointed to the committee. In addition, Hojjatoleslam Mehdi Khamoushi, the director of Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization, represents Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf on the committee. MP Kazem Jalali of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee also represents Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on the unity committee. Three veteran politicians, namely Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, former Majlis speaker, Ali Akbar Velayati, the Supreme Leader’s top advisor, and Habibollah Asgaroladi, secretary general of the Followers of Imam and Leadership Front, had previously been appointed to the committee. Former foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki, first Deputy Majlis Speaker Mohammad Reza Bahonar, Abbas Kaabi, Hashem Hosseini-Bushehri from the Society of Qom Seminary Teachers, Reza Taqavi, and Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard from the Combatant Clergy Association are also among the members of the committee.
