 TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has said that Iranian nationals held in United States’ prisons should be released on humanitarian grounds.Salehi made the remarks on Wednesday during a meeting with the families of some Iranian nationals held in U.S. custody. The families also emphasized their children’s innocence and called for the intensive diplomatic efforts and legal measures by the Iranian Foreign Ministry to obtain the release of the prisoners.
