| ‘Deviationists seeking to gain control of Majlis’ |

 TEHRAN – Spokesman of the Tehran branch of the Combatant Clergy Association has said that the “current of deviation” is trying to take control of the Majlis in the March parliamentary elections.Hojjatoleslam Ahmad Salek said deviationists believe that the President’s Chief of Staff Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaii should become the Majlis speaker in order to set the stage for the implementation of their plans. Fortunately, however, parts of their scheme were revealed after the arrest of certain deviationists, he added.
