 TEHRAN – The European Union is concerned about the repercussions of the oil embargo imposed on Tehran, Iranian Ambassador to Italy Mohammad Ali Hosseini has said in an interview with Il Manifesto, an Italian newspaper.
He also said that the EU’s decision not to implement the oil embargo on Iran until July 1 is indicative of the fact that it is concerned about the negative effects of anti-Iran sanctions on a number of its members, the Persian service of the Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday.
Europe’s policy of imposing sanctions against Iran, which is only seeking its legitimate rights, is an irrational policy, the diplomat said.
