|Iran condemns suicide bombing in Yemen||
TEHRAN - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast condemned on Tuesday the recent suicide bombing in Yemen.
According to AP, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a military parade rehearsal on Monday in the Yemeni capital Sana’a, killing about 100 soldiers in one of the deadliest attacks in the city in years.
Mehmanparast said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood by the Yemeni people and supported efforts to promote stability, security, and unity in the country.
He added, “We hope that the situation in Yemen will develop in such a way that the people and all political groups effectively participate in shaping their country’s future.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also expressed hope that peace and security would be restored in the country through efforts of the people and the relevant organizations.
