The Leader meets with a number of judicial officials in Mashhad on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
– Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that the global tyrants are seeking to undermine the Islamic system, whose victories have provided incentives for Muslim nations to pursue Islamic causes more vigorously.
“Today, the bullying global powers have focused their efforts to harm the Islamic Republic system and its great movement, which is a source of inspiration for the Muslim world,” the Leader said during a meeting with judicial officials in Mashhad on Wednesday.
Ayatollah Khamenei said, “The current awakening in the Muslim world and the ever-increasing zeal of the masses for Islamic causes” are the result of Iran’s increasing influence in the Muslim world.
“Each success of the Islamic system or its scientific progress, people’s great social movements like enthusiastic (participation in) elections, and the Islamic Republic’s resistance against the tyrannies of the global arrogance (forces of imperialism) are incentives for nations to pursue independence based on Islam, so the bullying powers have focused their efforts to cause this main powerhouse go out of favor,” he said.
The Leader also said that the commotion against the Islamic system in regard to human rights and the country’s nuclear program is in line with the policy to undermine Iran’s position in the Muslim world.
He added, “The bullying powers, which falsely call themselves the international community, are trying to deprive the Islamic Republic of Iran of its people’s support.”
The main purpose of the sanctions imposed by the hegemonistic powers is to sap the people’s strength and make them disengage from the Islamic system, he said. “But with the grace of God, this plot will also be foiled because they have not known our people and officials yet.”
“In this situation, it is incumbent on all organizations and the three branches of government to cooperate,” he stated.
“Any divergence between the ranks and the three branches of government is to the detriment of the country, so everybody should cooperate with each other,” he added.
