30 Iranian nationals released from Iraqi prisons

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_02_br2(39).jpgTEHRAN – Following intensive diplomatic efforts by the missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad and Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, 30 Iranian nationals were freed from Iraqi prisons and allowed to return home, the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency reported on Friday. 
 
The Iranians had been arrested and sentenced to prison by the judicial authorities of Iraq’s Kurdistan region and were allowed to return Iran on July 10.
